More than 40,000 leaders, disruptors and changemakers are expected at the annual HIMSS global health information and technology conference in Chicago, April 17-21. We’re ready to connect and discuss the future of INFRAM as a partner with Ingram Micro (Booth 2279). To get a preview of the latest solutions expected at HIMSS23, we spoke with Mike Machulsky, Executive Vice President, Strategic Partnerships at Pixel Health.
The evolution of INFRAM
“For the last 5 years I’ve been part of a working group to discuss the next iteration of the Infrastructure Adoption Model (INFRAM),” explained Mike. “We are evaluating how INFRAM 2.0 can evolve with future technology infrastructure capabilities to address ongoing challenges and continually improve the delivery of care.”
“INFRAM has proven to be an excellent process for health organizations to embrace positive change and align their technology infrastructure capabilities with business and clinical outcomes,” added Mike. “And as industry benchmarks and standards continue to change, we are working to ensure that INFRAM helps maximize future technology investments by providing flexible, long-term value—beyond its initial implementation.”
Listening to the voice of the healthcare customer
Given that IT infrastructure is inextricably linked to the tools used by a care delivery team, IT professionals must be an empowered partner in any health system. At HIMSS23, Mike and his team hope to connect with other healthcare strategists to learn how the voice of clinicians, IT teams and patients are guiding their digital transformations.
“The annual HIMSS conference is an excellent opportunity to connect and exchange ideas,” said Mike. “We all share the same goal of delivering an exceptional patient experience, and that starts with understanding today’s current constrains and anticipating how to best meet future clinical needs.”
