For more than 20 years, Pixel Health has been dedicated to helping healthcare organizations use technology to deliver better care. We design, plan, and implement technology-based solutions that simplify the way healthcare organizations operate, with an unwavering focus on patient and clinician experience. Through our integrated consulting and technology services—and our combined healthcare and technology expertise—we help advance healthcare operations, improve patient outcomes, and elevate clinical experiences.
Today, we’re excited to share two important updates about our next chapter:
- Pixel Health has been acquired by Thurston Group, a private equity firm with deep experience in healthcare and technology-enabled services.
- Brad Mondschein has been appointed CEO of Pixel Health, with founder Michael Feld transitioning to a new role as Strategic Advisor.
Why We’re Partnering with Thurston Group
Over the past two decades, our clients have asked us to take on increasingly complex challenges—from infrastructure and telecommunications to fully integrated technology services. To keep pace with our clients’ needs and the pace of change in healthcare, we knew we needed additional resources and support.
After careful consideration, we chose to partner with Thurston Group, a firm that:
- Focuses on healthcare and technology-enabled services
- Has a strong track record of helping organizations scale while maintaining quality
- Aligns with our commitment to long-term client relationships and outcomes
This partnership will allow us to:
- Invest more in our products and services – enhancing the solutions you already use and developing new capabilities that anticipate future needs.
- Accelerate innovation – bringing new features, integrations, and offerings to market faster.
- Expand our support and services – strengthening implementation, customer success, and ongoing support to give more value to our clients.
What Stays the Same
Although this is an important milestone for Pixel Health, our core focus remains unchanged. The same leadership team and experts will continue to support our clients, and our commitment to responsiveness, quality, and outcomes stays at the center of everything we do. Our goal is to provide continuity in how we work with healthcare organizations, while expanding the capabilities and value we can deliver over time.
As part of this new chapter, Brad Mondschein has been appointed CEO of Pixel Health. Brad has served as Pixel Health’s Chief Operating Officer for the past eight years, playing a key role in our growth and in the delivery of integrated consulting and technology services for healthcare organizations.
Brad is a legal and business leader with deep experience in healthcare and technology, and a strong background in helping services organizations grow and navigate complex regulatory and business environments. His focus is simple: ensure Pixel Health is even better positioned to support strategic priorities across the healthcare ecosystem and deliver reliable, high-impact solutions.
Brad will continue to work alongside our established leadership team—including founder and Strategic Advisor Michael Feld; co-founder and Executive Vice President of Technology Services Greg Pellerin; Barbara Casey, President of Strategy and Transformation; President of Technology Services Karl Connolly; and Mike Machulsky, EVP of Sales and Strategic Partnerships—ensuring continuity in our strategy, operations, and the way we serve healthcare organizations.
Honoring Our Founders: Michael Feld and Greg Pellerin
Pixel Health would not be what it is today without the vision and dedication of our co-founders, Michael Feld and Greg Pellerin.
Over the past two decades, Michael has provided leadership in telecommunications, IT consulting, and engineering for healthcare providers and other organizations, helping drive growth and innovation while maintaining a uniquely personal touch with clients. Greg, our co-founder and Executive Vice President of Technology Services, has been instrumental in designing innovative solutions for healthcare organizations and consistently connecting client needs to the most effective technologies.
As we transition into this new phase:
- Michael Feld will move into the role of Strategic Advisor to Pixel Health. He will remain actively involved in shaping our long-term vision and innovation, continuing to influence how we support the broader healthcare ecosystem.
- Greg Pellerin will continue in his role as Executive Vice President of Technology Services, helping shape our technology strategy and ensuring continuity in how we develop and deliver solutions.
With Brad’s leadership and the continued guidance of Michael and Greg, we are building on a strong foundation—not starting over.
What This Means for the Future of Pixel Health
Looking ahead, this new chapter will allow Pixel Health to strengthen and expand how we serve the healthcare community. With additional resources and leadership capacity, we’ll be able to enhance our integrated consulting and technology services, accelerate innovation, and deepen our impact on patient and clinician experience.
For our clients: A continued focus on practical, technology-based solutions that address real-world challenges and support better outcomes.
For partners, vendors, and the broader market: A more capable, collaborative Pixel Health—committed to advancing healthcare operations and strengthening the overall healthcare ecosystem.
